Oily skin is the result of the overproduction of sebum from sebaceous glands. These glands are located under the skin’s surface. Sebum is an oily substance made of fats. Sebum isn’t all bad since it helps protect and moisturize your skin and keep your hair shiny and healthy. Too much sebum may lead to oily skin, which can lead to clogged pores and acne. Genetics, hormone changes, or even stress may increase sebum production.
Many cosmetic products promises to clear oily skin but most of them are failed to remove permanently, where as natural homemade remedies are very effective and long lasting beauty regimes.
Here are few homemade remedies that will remove your oily face permanently.

1. Cucumbers:
Cucumbers are very beneficial for oily skin due to their cooling, astringent, and soothing properties. Cucumbers are high vitamin and mineral content. cucumbers contain vitamins A and E, magnesium, and potassium which are good for oily skin.
Cut a fresh organic cucumber into thick slices, and rub them thoroughly on your face. Leave it on overnight and rinse with warm water in the morning. Do this daily before going to bed.

2. Tomatoes:
Tomatoes are great for oily skin due to their cooling, clarifying and astringent properties. The high vitamin C content in tomatoes is very helpful for acne-prone skin. Plus, the natural oil-absorbing acids in tomatoes help get rid of excess oil.
Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin.
Allow the juice to dry on your skin for at least 10-15 minutes.
Finally Rinse your skin with cold water, pat it dry and apply a oil-free moisturizer.

3. Banana face pack:
Ripe banana helps in treating oily skin. Take a ripe banana and mash it, then add a tablespoon of honey and a few drops of lemon into it. Mix them well to become thick paste and apply this fruit mask on your face and neck areas.
Let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Repeat it once in a week to get rid of oily skin.

4. Jojoba oil:
Although the idea of applying oil to oily skin seems counterproductive, jojoba oil is a folk remedy to treat oily skin, acne, and other skin problems. Its thought that jojoba oil mimics sebum on the skin, it keeps sebaceous glands into producing less sebum and helps keep oil levels balanced.
A little jojoba oil goes a long way. Using too much may worsen oily skin. Try massaging a few drops into clean skin a few days a week to see how you react. If you like the results, apply daily.
Applying a mask made of healing clay and jojoba oil for two to three times weekly helped heal skin lesions and mild acne.
